I do, however, think the use of celebrity photographs that seem to be cut out of past photo shoots is a strange setup.

One of my favorite places to eat and drink. Very friendly and attentive staff, great atmosphere, great food, and the beer selection is wonderful.

The fish & chips were awesome! Staff was prompt & the atmosphere was cozy, just like back in England! I will be back again soon ..

I love to eat and drink at your pub. A pub, formally public house, a house "open to the public", as opposed to a private house, is a drinking establishment fundamental to the culture of Britain. The writings of Samuel Pepys describe the pub as the heart of England.

My wife and I live in Bonita half the year. When we are here the British Open is our No. 1 place to eat. It's casual. The food is excellent. And the menu is soooo good.

Best fish & chips in town, my husband won't order anything else! I love the Sunday special, lamb shanks, better than grandma used to make. And the chicken mushroom pie is positively Yummo! Service is also great & we're fussy. Food is always brought hot and fresh, never kept waiting & staff is attentive, accommodating, and always friendly. If you haven't tried this place yet, you're missing out!

The chicken and mushroom pie is so good, we could eat that every day! But, then, even a cheeseburger at the British Open Pub is - well - the way a cheeseburger should be! Of course, there is no where to be on St. Patrick's day than the British Open Pub!

I feel like I am visiting England again and having dinner in an English Pub. Staff is extra friendly. Food is fabulous! My husband and I are there at least once a week. Sometimes twice.

One of my favorite places to drink and eat (as long as Bernie is at the bar). Ann's sausage rolls are THE best. I will have to drive down from Venice to see you folks soon.

Good information. Lucky me I discovered your blog by accident (stumbleupon). I've book-marked it for later!

Food was very good. Service total opposite. Waitress NEVER checked to inquire how are food orders were and if more beverages were wanted. Only came to our table to see if we wanted deserts. Hence, no tip was given!!

We were told that these were the best fish & chips in town, They are. All five of us enjoyed our different meals, they also pour a good Guinness.
One thing though please use fresh (frozen) peas not tin peas.
The service is excellent and overall a pub you want to go back to. Great.

If you're every need a laugh, or feel loved. Ask for Tony. This guy is a blast. My friends and I have been having a blast talking with him. I wish he was on the other side of the bar having dinner with us and a beer! Ask for Tony. Great dude

My husband and I have eaten at your pub for 27 years. We love the fish and chips! We dined there this evening. Our waiter, Don, was attentive and courteous as is all of your staff. However, my meal was not at all up to snuff. The portion was half the size of my husband's. There was standing water in the plate which made the chips quite soggy. When I lifted the fish to the side to deal with the water, all the breading fell away to reveal a portion half the size as originally served. I did not complain at the time because to do so always upsets my husband. All of that being said, I feel I will indeed have second thoughts about dining at the Pub again. A very disappointing venture. PS: My husband was pleased with his meal.

Thank you for listening.

My husband and I just moved into Bonita. We stopped at the restaurant tonight around six for a drink. We spoke to the woman at reception and told her we wanted to have a drink she said we could sit outside or inside we said outside "she told us to go in and see if there was a table available there was but an met was nearby we asked if we were in thewayband he said no.Then another woman came in and said we could not sit there so she said we could go to another table so we sat down at another table, that same woman walked by and we asked her if where we were sitting now was ok,she said yes.We were just about to order when that same woman asked us if we had a golf ball Wesaidwhat golf ball?she said you can't sit there I have people ahead if you. We left the restaurant, but would never have sat down in the first place if we had not been told to do so.This was our first experience at the restaurant and needless to say we were no impressed with the customer service We went to another restaurant and were treated quite civilly.
